Sumeru was designed with the intention of supporting our local craftsmen from the local community as well as keeping our carbon footprint as low as possible. Many of our construction materials were locally sourced and our decor such as bronze works and bovine hide carvings were crafted by local Siem Reap artists and crafts-men as well as nearby Kampong thom Province.
